Job Summary:
Manatee County Rural Health Services, Inc. is seeking a thorough detail-oriented Auditing Specialist to join its healthcare team. This position is a newly-created grant-funded position. The Auditing Specialist would review records and internal procedures to ensure they are in line with corporate policies, grantor standards, contract deliverables and regulatory requirements; and evaluate operating guidelines and procedures to identify and report problems to management.
Requirements:
  • Bachelors degree in Business, Accounting, Health Care Administration or related field
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in a financial or auditing setting
  • Proficient in the Microsoft word products with specific emphasis on spreadsheets
  • Experience with internal auditing standards, techniques and sampling procedures
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
