Job Summary:

Manatee County Rural Health Services, Inc. is seeking a talented and experienced Assistant Director for the Pharmacy Department to assist with all aspects of the pharmacy department. Responsible for assisting the Pharmacy Director in planning, coordinating and implementing pharmacy services, monitoring quality assurance and control, and supervising the pharmacy staff. Establishes training for pharmacy staff in accordance with licensing, certification and regulatory agencies. Ensures pharmacy policies and procedures are up-to-date and coordinates pharmacy services in accordance with company policies and procedures.

Requirements:

• Requires a Bachelor’s degree in pharmaceuticals from an accredited college or university • Current Registered Pharmacist license in the State of Florida • Minimum of 7 years pharmacy experience in a large, multi-disciplinary, ambulatory care operation preferred • Minimum of 2 years supervisory experience • Ability to relate to the public and patients, regardless of ethnic, religious and economic status. • Ability to communicate well with management, physicians, patients, patient families, other department heads and MCRHS team members at all levels.

Manatee County Rural Health Services, Inc. is seeking a talented and experienced Administrative Assistant to provide administrative support services to the Chief Operating Officer (COO) and Chief Performance Officer (CPO). He/she will be accountable for providing on-going support, management, and scheduling of the business executives to ensure that outcomes are achieved and efforts are aligned with the overall vision/mission of the organization. He/she will be responsible for maintaining appointment calendars, handling incoming calls/emails, coordinating meetings, transcribing meeting minutes, drafting correspondences, researching and preparing executive summaries, maintaining corporate documents, securing travel arrangements, and keeping projects on track.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of High School Diploma. Associates or Bachelor`s degree with a focus on business related course work, preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive administrative assistance experience, preferably within healthcare setting.
  • Strong understanding of principles and practices of business operations, project management, fiscal/budgetary management, and customer service functions.
  • High degree of integrity and discretion when handling or informed of propriety and/or confidential information.
  • Ability to complete simultaneous tasks with frequent interruptions while paying close attention to the details.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills with the ability to build strong relationships and effectively influence diverse groups at all levels within the organization.
  • Exceptional independent, critical thinking skills and ability to make decisions and solve problems in assigned work area.
  • Proficiency in the use of computer software applications, including but not limited to: Microsoft Office Products - Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
