Job Summary:

Responsible for providing patient service which includes, but is not limited to: Providing a courteous, friendly, professional environment for the patients of MCRHS, Inc. Register patients into the MCRHS, Inc. patient information system. Evaluates patients for eligibility for reduces fees/Medicaid/other special funded programs. Establish pay status and obtain third party information. To assist in maintaining a smooth, efficient front desk by assisting when necessary with scheduling, check-in / check-out functions, answering phones and taking messages. Collect client information to facilitate identification and eligibility for specific programs.


Requirements:

1. High School Graduate, GED equivalent or actively enrolled in GED accredited courses. 2. College business courses helpful 3. Two (2) years experience in business office (medical or clerical environment preferred). Good written and oral skills, good interpersonal skills, must be flexible, able to function effectively under stressful situations, able to maintain monthly reports with minimal supervision. 4. Prior customer service experience helpful, bilingual helpful. 5. Strong public contact. 6. Must be able to enter data into a computerized database. 7. Must complete required training for Ryan White Part B eligibility.

Job Summary:

The Physical Therapy Assistant will work in a team where quality, compassionate care is provided in a secure setting. Under the supervision of the Chief of Podiatry /Physical Therapist, PTAs will implement the residents Care Plans for rehabilitation. PTAs help mentally/physically impaired residents to participate in tasks to restore, reinforce, and enhance their performance.


Requirements:

* Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Program culminating in an Associates Degree
* Current and valid State of Florida PTA license or equivalent
* CPR certification (when required)

Community Health Educator

Job Summary:

Responsible for coordinating and conducting screening and education to the migrant/seasonal farm workers and their families. Provides literature and handouts at various locations throughout Manatee and DeSoto Counties, including but not limited to farms, groceries, housing complexes, retail stores, churches and social events.


Requirements:

Must be a high school graduate or equivalent. Must have at least one year of outreach experience or community related service, and experience and training in providing patient education. Must be bilingual English / Spanish and have basic knowledge of Hispanic social service agencies, churches, labor camps, packing houses, farms and apartment complexes. Must be able to work flexible hours totaling 40 hours per week and have reliable transportation to travel throughout Manatee and/or DeSoto counties.
